How to Calculate AP TET cum TRT 20% Weightage
As per AP TET cum TRT 2014 notification, the clear instruction has been given that APTET will be given 20% weightage, be it either from earlier TET or from AP TET cum TRT 2014. The government has also made it clear that, for the candidates who have already taken TET and again attempting 2014 test, the highest score obtained from the tests will be added to the 2014 exam score. However, doubts have risen over the calculation of 20% weightage. Hence, an illustration of calculation of weightage has been given in the notification of AP TET cum TRT 2014.
TET | DSC | DSC | ||||||||
Total marks | Secured Marks | 20 % weightage | Total marks | Secured Marks | 20 % weightage | Total marks | Secured Marks | 20 % weightage | ||
A | B | C | D =(C/Bx20) | E | F | G | H (G/Fx20) | I | J | K (J/1x20) |
Ex1 | 150 | 120 | 16 | Ex1 | 200 | 120 | 12.00 | 180 | 120 | 13.33 |
Ex2 | 150 | 110 | 14.67 | Ex2 | 200 | 140 | 14.00 | 180 | 140 | 15.56 |
Ex3 | 150 | 100 | 13.33 | Ex3 | 200 | 160 | 16.00 | 180 | 160 | 17.78 |
Consider if a candidate has secured 120 marks out of 150 in earlier APTET.
Then,20% weightage = 120/150 X 20 = 16
Now, if the same candidate secures 120 marks out of 200 in AP TET cum TRT SA exam,
20% weightage = 120/200 X 20 = 12
If the candidate writes SGT exam and scores 120 out of 180,
20% weightage = 120/180 X 20 = 13.33
The highest weightage of TET from two scores mentioned above will be considered while preparing the final list.
