Components Balika Samridhi Yojana:
Eligible girls under BSY will be entitled to the following benefits:
1. An amount of post-birth grant Rs.500 / -.
2. When the little girl born on or after 15.08.1997 and covered by BSY starts attending school, she will be entitled to annual scholarships as a sub for each full year of study successfully.
Class - Amount of the annual grant
I-III Rs.300 / - per annum for each class
IV Rs.500 / - per year
V Rs.600 / - per year
VI-VII Rs.700 / - per annum for each class
VIII Rs.800 / - per year
IX-X Rs.1,000 / - per annum for each class
Eligibility:
This system is intended to improve the status of the girl child in India. It provides financial support to encourage girls to attend school. Girls born after August 15, 1997 to families living below the poverty line are eligible for this program.
1.Maximam two Gril childs benfit in this scheme in a family.
2.2. The plan will provide annual scholarships in the account of the girl, from 300/- rupees (when the girl is in class 1) and get Rs.1,000 when the girl is in Class 10.
3.The girl will recived all money when she is 18 years old but she is still Un-Married.
How to Apply:
Gram Panchayats / Municipalities / other local agencies (when a body of elected outputs) obtain applications for benefits under BSY. Personnel services / Village level ground as Anganwadi workers, midwives practical nurses (ANMSM) accounting of the village income, teachers, Panchayat / municipal staff can be used to identify eligible beneficiaries for inform BSY, give them the application forms, help them fill out the forms and collect the filled in applications.
